Speaking of prom photos! I actually like this outfit of Gillian’s, and that hair!, but where did they even dig up that yearbook photo background? And who convinced them to post like that? I’m sorry, noromos, but some things you just can’t deny, and one of those things is the deep symbolism of promo shots.

I also miss the days when actors had to pose like it was their junior prom. Here’s the thing: is Duchovny wearing a white satin suit? I endorse everything Gillian is wearing 300%, but oh sweet jesus I cannot get behind that suit, especially not with what appears to be two separate shirts under the jacket.

It’s strange how promo departments today have actual budgets for things like “not taking photos in the hallway” and “wardrobe choices beyond what was already in the show’s closet”. I do love this, not least because everyone’s hair looks 200% better than it did for most of the first season.

So it turns out trusting Tumblr to still post your scheduled updates when it is busy wreaking havoc on dashboards across the land is slightly too generous! This actually works out okay because I’ve been planning to switch uploading styles to be more accessible to screen reading, so if all goes according to plan there will be ACTUAL posts appearing later this afternoon, rather than phantom...
